Frequently asked questions

💬
Why should I use a hardware wallet?
A hardware wallet, like Trezor, provides top-notch security by keeping your sensitive data and crypto access completely offline. This protects your assets from hackers, malware, and other online threats. Unlike exchanges, which can be vulnerable to hacks or government restrictions, a hardware wallet gives you full control of your assets. Additionally, Trezor offers easy wallet backup, ensuring your funds are recoverable even if the device is lost or damaged.
💬
What is a hardware wallet?
A hardware wallet is a physical device that stores your cryptocurrency private keys offline, providing maximum security for your digital assets.
💬
How does a hardware wallet work?
Hardware wallets work by generating and storing your private keys in a secure chip that never connects directly to the internet, ensuring your keys remain safe from online threats.
💬
What if I lose my hardware wallet?
If you lose your hardware wallet, you can recover your funds using your recovery seed phrase on a new device. This is why it's crucial to keep your seed phrase secure and backed up.
💬
How to transfer crypto to a hardware wallet?
You can transfer crypto to your hardware wallet by sending it to your wallet's receiving address, which you can generate through the Trezor app or interface.
